A little 3-year old girl lives in my street. She likes puffy pink dresses, bows, hairpins and other girls' accessories. Her mother asked me to sew this lovely doll with a flower-decorated dress. My New Friend doll is designed for play NOT display. She is made hale and hardy and fully expects to go where your child goes and do what your child does. If you hug the doll she will hug you back. She has a dress, pantaloons, a pinafore, shoes and socks which are all removable and fasten with velcro, elastic and laces.- Comment [0]

The talented Sara Lanzillotta makes fantastic handmade dolls, creatures and monsters. Technically today's featured artists are not Canadian, but Michigan is close enough, isn't it?! The Handwork Group is a collective of Waldorf parents who create handcrafted artwork to sell to benefit their children's school.
