My apron is created and handmade with love for my dear wonderful friend Miss Ginny. When I was told that I was making my apron for her I was SOOOO HAPPY! I just adore Ginny and we both love the same looks and style so I just knew she would be so much fun to create for.

Don’t you just love the necktie section of the thrift store? The one I frequent most is always full of a fun mix of throwback patterns, cheesy characters, and some more modern designs. It’s those throwback ties that really speak to me, and sometimes I can’t resist snagging a couple, even if I don’t know what I’m planning to do with it.

The cushions on our sofa were in DESPERATE need of updating.  You have no idea just how desperate I was to get rid of the old ones.  The dog had eaten holes in them.  The twins had spread toothpaste over them (which by the way bleached the fabric in patches).  They were literally falling apart and the stuffing was constantly coming out of them
