I’ve been having fun designing hat knitting patterns for babies. I have chosen some exquisite yarns to use ( including pure silk) yet due to the small amount needed most cost only a few pounds to make. All of the hat knitting patterns cover 3 sizes S,M & L so can be made for any baby with a head circumference between 14 – 20 inches.

Ron Rementilla: I run Paperkraft.net to help guide people find the best free papercrafts on the web and promote the works of prominent and up-and-coming paper modelers, even the obscured ones. I started blogging in February of 2006 after a friend saw some of my papercraft collection at home which included books, kits, and printed patterns from the internet, she put the idea in my head about sharing it through blogs.

The fusible web appliqué Cat & the Sunflower pattern comes from our “Garden Friends” series of birdhouses. We used a machine blanket stitch to finish the appliqué edges but hand blanket stitch directions are given in our pattern too. The Cat & the Sunflower block measures 9½” x 13” finished size.
