DECO Clay Craft Academy was founded in 1981 by Kazuko Miyai. Her daughter Yukiko Miyai opened her own studio in 1998, bringing the craft to Honolulu, Hawaii. There are now over 3,000 instructors of this craft in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the United States, and more are being trained every day.

Craftsman Studios Arts Crafts Copper Bowl. This beautiful hand hammered copper bowl has vase-like shape, fluted, creased sides and flower petal like crimped rim. It has a natural, not-too-dark veined patina and wonderful coloring. The bowl is a little over 1 and one half inches high and is just under 11 and one half inches wide at the flared rim.
