Our beaded bugs are handcrafted tactile sculptures, sturdy and touchable, but they are not meant to be toys. Beadlebugs are not recommended for small children unless supervised by an adult. Our original techniques and designs came from combining art, craft, and science. We use beads made of quality materials, mostly glass and hematite, with some gemstone, wood, and porcelain. There are no plastic or acrylic beads in our beaded bugs, and no glue, just beads and wire.
